Europe's main stock markets have nudged upwards at the start of trading.
London's FTSE 100 index of leading companies gained 0.02 per cent to 6,285.51 points at the open on Monday.
Frankfurt's DAX 30 edged up 0.02 per cent to 7,859.83 points and in Paris the CAC 40 gained 0.19 per cent to 3,785.34.
