Europe's main stock markets have eased slightly at the start of trading.
London's FTSE 100 index of leading companies was down 0.1 percent to 6,191.34 points at the open on Thursday.
Frankfurt's DAX 30 inched down 0.09 percent to 7,700.53 points and in Paris the CAC 40 also fell by 0.09 percent to 3,722.85.
