European stock markets have opened higher.
London's FTSE 100 index of leading companies rose 0.16 per cent to 6,164.23 points at the start of trading on Monday.
In Paris, the CAC 40 also climbed 0.16 per cent to 3,747.57 points. Frankfurt's DAX 30 index added 0.33 per cent to stand at 7,727.77.
