Ireland's trade surplus grew 13 per cent in July to 3.923 billion euros ($A4.90 billion) as the eurozone nation's exports surged compared with June levels, official data shows.
Exports climbed 6.0 per cent to 7.926 billion euros in July from 7.474 billion euros in June, the Central Statistics Office said in a statement on Friday.
Imports added just 0.4 per cent to 4.003 billion euros from 3.989 billion euros, the CSO added.
Debt-riddled Ireland was ravaged by the global financial crisis and received an 85-billion-euro EU-IMF rescue package in late 2010.
