Baby boomers expect to retire with $400,000 in super, half of what they think they need.
FINDINGS:
- 57 per cent of boomers believe they will run out of money during retirement.
- Only 32 per cent boomers are actively saving for retirement.
- 29 per cent of baby boomers say they are saving for a holiday.
- 22.7 per cent baby boomers think the government has the primary responsibility, apart from themselves, for ensuring they have a financially comfortable retirement.
