Bank of New Zealand (BNZ) says chief financial officer Ken Christie will return to Australia at the end of the year.
He will take up a job with parent company National Australia Bank (NAB).
Mr Christie was seconded to BNZ from NAB in 2007. His new role at the Australian bank has not yet been disclosed.
A replacement CFO for BNZ has not been announced.
