The Australian share market continues to hit new highs for 2012, opening slightly higher on Friday.
At 1015 AEDT on Friday, the benchmark S&P/ASX200 index was up 6.6 points, or 0.14 per cent, at 4,640.7, while the broader All Ordinaries index was up 5.5 points, or 0.12 per cent, at 4,652.1.
On the ASX 24, the March share price index futures contract was up 12 points at 4,621 with 5,223 contracts traded.
