Stocks to watch on the Australian stock exchange at noon on Wednesday:
ANZ - AUSTRALIA AND NEW ZEALAND BANKING GROUP - up 8.5 cents, or 0.35 per cent, at $24.595
ANZ is due to hold its AGM on Wednesday.
BBG - BILLABONG INTERNATIONAL LTD - down 10.75 cents, or 10.97 per cent, at 87.25 cents
Surfwear retailer Billabong is considering a $527 million takeover offer from one of its former executives, and has downgraded its full-year earnings guidance.
WHC - WHITEHAVEN COAL LTD - up 17 cents, or 5.3 per cent, at $3.38
Whitehaven Coal says it has held talks with China's largest coal company, Shenhua Group, but no offers are on the table.
