Stocks to watch on the Australian stock exchange at noon on Tuesday:
DOW - DOWNER EDI - up 14 cents or 4.03 per cent to $3.61
Engineering firm Downer EDI's earnings will be hit by the company's settlement of a legal dispute over a tunnel contract in Singapore.
PPX - PAPERLINX - flat at 6.1 cents
Paper, packaging and signage company PaperlinX will embark on its restructure of its struggling European operations with a new chief financial officer.
TSE - TRANSFIELD SERVICES - up 1.5 cents or 0.87 to $1.735
Transfield Services has won several new contracts worth $140 million, including work on two major energy projects.
