Europe's main stock markets have risen at the start of trading, as traders awaited the year's final monetary policy decisions from the ECB and Bank of England.
London's FTSE 100 index of top companies edged up 0.03 per cent to 5,893.70 points on Thursday, Frankfurt's DAX 30 index climbed 0.20 per cent to 7,469.54 points and in Paris the CAC 40 gained 0.34 per cent to 3,602.88.
