Hong Kong shares have closed 0.15 per cent higher, rebounding slightly from the previous day's losses.
Gains were muted by weak US manufacturing data.
The benchmark Hang Seng Index rose 32.12 points to end at 21,799.97 on turnover of HK$52.91 billion ($A6.58 billion).
Chinese shares closed up 0.78 per cent. The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index rose 15.37 points to 1,975.14 on turnover of 62.4 billion yuan ($A9.54 billion).
