Europe's main stock markets rose at the start of trading on Monday, with London's benchmark FTSE 100 index of top companies gaining 0.30 percent to 5,884.64 points.
Frankfurt's DAX 30 index won 0.29 percent to 7,427.41 points and in Paris the CAC 40 rose 0.28 percent to 3,567.97.
