Europe's main stock markets have risen slightly at the start of Friday trading, with London's benchmark FTSE 100 index of top companies edging up 0.09 per cent to 5,796.26 points.
Frankfurt's DAX 30 climbed 0.18 per cent to 7,258.33 points and in Paris the CAC 40 won 0.15 per cent to 3,503.70.
