The Australian market looks set to open flat following a quiet overnight session with Wall Street closed for the Thanksgiving holiday.
At 0630 AEDT on Friday, the December share price index futures contract was up four points at 4,427.
No major economic news is expected on Friday.
In equities news, ANZ chief executive Mike Smith is scheduled to address the British Chamber of Commerce in Melbourne, while David Jones, Beach Energy AGM, Perseus Mining, Capilano Honey and AV Jennings have annual general meetings.
In Australia, the market on Thursday closed higher on Thursday, with positive manufacturing data out of the US overnight and China during the day promoting positive investor sentiment.
At the close, the benchmark S&P/ASX200 index was up 43.6 points, or 0.99 per cent, at 4,413.1, while the broader All Ordinaries index was up 41.7 points, or 0.95 per cent, at 4,432.4.
