Stocks to watch on the Australian stock exchange at the close on Thursday:

FMG - FORTESCUE METALS GROUP LTD - down three cents or 0.64 per cent at $4.63

Fortescue Metals Group has maintained its full year targets for iron ore production after lifting its shipments in the second quarter of the financial year.

LNC - LINC ENERGY - up 51 cents or 23.61 per cent to $2.67

Brisbane-based company Linc Energy says reserves in the Arckaringa Basin could yield up to 233 billion barrels of oil, based on an independent assessment.

NBL - NONI B - down 12 cents or 13.79 per cent to 75 cents.

Women's fashion retailer Noni B has committed to maintaining staff levels despite an expected fall of up to 29 per cent in its first half net profit.

NCM - NEWCREST MINING LTD - down 43 cents, or 1.82 per cent, at $23.98

Miner Newcrest has maintained its full-year production forecasts after December quarter gold and copper production rose from the preceding three months.

OZL - OZ MINERALS LTD - down 46 cents, or 6.29 per cent, at $6.85

OZ Minerals predicts copper production will fall in 2013 and gold may follow, as the company posts a drop in production in the final three months of 2012.

PNA - PANAUST LTD - down 30 cents, or 8.96 per cent, at $3.05

Copper and gold producer PanAust has forecast steady earnings in 2013 after meeting its production targets for 2012.

QAN - QANTAS AIRWAYS LTD - up 0.5 cents or 0.33 per cent at $1.525

Qantas has offered its check-in and customer service staff voluntary redundancies after losing a multimillion contract with Air New Zealand.
