Stocks to watch on the Australian stock exchange at the close of trade on Wednesday:
BHP - BHP BILLITON LTD - up 48 cents, or 1.3 per cent, at $37.06
BHP Billiton is on track to lift its full year iron ore production after enjoying a better-than-expected result in the final three months of 2012.
BOB - BORAL LTD - up 3.5 cents, or 0.4 per cent, at $8.53
Building products maker Boral has upgraded its underlying first-half profit forecast after ramping up cost cuts and enjoying better trading conditions before Christmas.
CWN - CROWN LTD - down five cents, or 0.4 per cent, at $11.87
The NSW Greens say conflict of interest concerns about a firm helping to assess James Packer's $1 billion Barangaroo proposal are another blow to the government's transparency claims.
NUF - NUFARM LTD - down 58 cents, or 9.2 per cent, at $5.75
