Australian sales of new motor vehicles fell 2.8 per cent, seasonally adjusted, in October, official data shows.
In the month, 95,720 new vehicles were sold, seasonally adjusted, compared to a downwardly revised 98,436 in September, according to Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) data released on Thursday.
In the year to October, new motor vehicle sales rose 8.6 per cent, seasonally adjusted, from 88,163.
