Stocks to watch on the Australian stock exchange at close on Friday:
APN - APN NEWS & MEDIA LTD - down 0.5 cents, or 0.67 per cent, at 74 cents
Independent News & Media (INM), the Irish parent of Australasia's APN News & Media, is delisting shares which haven't traded on the New Zealand stock exchange since 2007.
CPU - COMPUTERSHARE LTD - down 23 cents, or 2.95 per cent, at $7.57
Computershare says it will sell UK-based Flag Communication Limited to interests associated with the chairman Chris Morris for STG400,000 ($A624,951).
CWK - COALWORKS LTD - up two cents, or 2.03 per cent, at $1.005
WHC - WHITEHAVEN COAL LTD - up 12 cents, or 2.86 per cent, at $4.31
Macquarie Bank's push to oust the chairman and chief executive of Coalworks has been dumped after the NSW miner said it will accept a takeover offer from Whitehaven Coal.
EGP - ECHO ENTERTAINMENT GROUP LTD - in trading halt, last traded at $4.49
CWN - CROWN LTD - up seven cents, or 0.82 per cent, at $8.65
Casino operator Echo Entertainment Group expects a drop in its full year earnings due to weak consumer sentiment.
